VHS Conversion Services:
Have a VHS tape that needs conversion? Basic conversions are done on an "as I have time" basis with no editing, and can take up to two weeks (or I will let you know in advance if a longer deadline is required).
Cost for simple capture and convert is $15/$20/$25 per tape (for, respectively, up 2/4/6 hours per tape) due upon completion. Minimum charge is $30 per set of tape(s). To support the low fee, conversions are briefly checked but not fully reviewed for quality, completeness, or gaps in the original recording.
VHS tapes must be physically undamaged or service cannot be provided ($5 per tape for rejected tapes -- minimum charge still applies).
Each captured video* is placed in an unlisted (and Canadian!) SYNC.COM folder were you can download it or share with family/friends, or onto a USB drive or SD card that you supply.
*: File format will be 640x480 .MP4 unless discussed otherwise.
Want videos edited down, broken into multiple smaller videos, and/or written to DVD? I can provide that additional service for a fee, with delivery deadline to be negotiated depending on complexity.
At my sole discretion, I reserve the right to reject any conversion of content that may be considered objectionable.
